Hoping to find some overknee boots that fit my legs some day. It's just so stylish, I love the clean look you can create with some killer overknee boots. As you can see, the boots Emanuelle Alt is wearing in both pictures aren't even high, but you still got that optical lenght! Are those shorts by the way?!

Love at first sight...

I'm such a sucker for studded stuff, when I saw these boots, it was love at first sight. You can get these at  www.modcloth.com the shop isn't really my style but oh how I like these boots! Should I buy them?

Mayhem

Today I went to Primark Hoofddorp. It's saturday, so you have to be prepared for chaos! This store is mayhem at busy days. They do have a lot of crappy stuff, but if you want to have some cheap items to give a little boost to your wardrobe it's an easy way to go. I am such a big fan of the snood, so I bought two, one in ocheryellow, and one in ehmm, in between orange and red. A nice pink blouse and a yellow clutch to do some colorblocking. All for the price of 30 euros.

Zara has some really nice clutches right now. They are sized big and that always makes more of a statement than a little bag I think. Not always easier to handle but hey, who cares? Since I'm trying to loose the black and grey palet in my outfits, putting some color or prints in your accessories is really an easy way to brighten things up. Absolutely love the clutches above! Prices are between 50 and 100 euros, which not really matches my budget nowadays. Gonna try to find me some cheaper lookalikes.

Yeah, I know, I make really crappy outfit pics, I'm trying to find myself a way to make nice pictures, without somebody else always having to make them and without a camera?? Almost all the pictures you have seen are taken with my blackberry or Iphone. For now this will do. Just wanted to show you the jumpsuit I bought two weeks ago at Bataviastad, the outlet, you remember? Decided to wear it with some red lips! Gotta work on my pose as well by the way!

Sneak Peak

Just giving you a sneak peek into my bedroom. Guess it's turning out more as a closet as a bedroom, since there are more clothes in it. Due to a temporary guest in my house I had to clean out an entire room where I kept my clothes and laundry. This is the result... I like to keep my clothes hanging so they are easier to see and grab. It avoids a whole lot of mess! Wanna throw out a bunch of old stuff, but although I heaven't wore some items in years, I can't seem to throw them away! Do you have the same issues??

City Girls

I went away this weekend with my family. We went to Vaals, Zuid-Limburg. It was really fun, us city people to the country side. My sister and I got really excited when a couple of hundred sheeps came right at us! Offcourse we stupid city girls had never seen this before! We went to Maastricht which is a really nice place to shop and a beautiful city. It was raining almost the entire weekend so the weather wasn't that good. Holland has had some really strange weather the past couple of weeks. Last weekend it was 26 degrees and I was walking around in shorts! Fall has really kicked in this weekend! Did another outlet this weekend, at Maasmechelen, but never again. It's just not for me, not doing that any more. Have to get some sleep now, tomorrow it's back to work again! Fashionfools

I'm introducing a new item here. It's called 'The Fashionfool of the week'. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about expressing yourself. Some people make art, some people sing, but what do you do when you don't have these talents? Expressing yourself through fashion is a good alternative (except for Lady Gaga offcourse, she does all of the above). Fashion is fun, and there are no rules, less is more, the bigger the better, bla bla bla. What do you think this girl is trying to say? I think she's still stuck in her childhood years, wearing her tutu and little bunnywunny...

For the past couple of months I've been busy working on a dream of mine. Although the road sometimes seems very long, I am convinced it will all work out at the end. Out with the old, in comes the new. Now summer is almost over (we had the best weather, last weekend of the whole year...hellow october!), it always makes me think about what new shoes to buy. No more sandals and flipflops, it's al about boots. My shoes from last season are all pretty worn out, so it's time for some new babies. You have a Dutch sayin: "Don't throw away an old pair of shoes before you got new ones". And, since I'm still financially recovering from my birthdayparty (which I still can't remember, must have been fun) and a car repair, I have to choose wiseley. Nelly.com has some really nice shoes for  good prices, so I already bought a pair of rock boots, for the more casual days. 

I'm trying not to buy to much black clothing nowadays and I think I have to use this concept on my shoes too. We all know it's hard to get rid off old habits, so I think the second shoes are a good compromise. At least it matches any color, as I am forced to buy clothing and shoes that work with almost everything...

I went away for a wellness weekend with my friends. It's autumn, but the weather in Holland has been like summer the past few days!! So we were very lucky. Us city girls to a spa in nature, offcourse I had to make a picture of the woods, like I have never seen one before? Lol... We also went to an outlet overthere, it didn't had much to offer, but I did buy a really nice jumpsuit that fits me like a glove! Tried a lot of jumpsuits before, but I always think it makes my but looks long, this one didn't! Don't have a pic avalaible yet...not good with the outfitpics, forgive me. I'm completely zen again, so I can start my week fresh...
